Eddie O'dea's Recon Video of the Trans North Georgia

Our own Eddie O preps for this 350 mile self-supported monster race

The TNGA race begins Sept 4th at 8:00 AM.  350 miles and 56,000+ feet of climbing of mostly dirt roads, a little single track and a little pavement.

This a self navigating, (mostly) self supported event.  Only 3 people have completed the route since it was published last year, so little is known about the logistics needed for a TT style attempt.

I've ridden about 40% in my travels.  This video is from sections known as Stanley Gap, Green Mountain and Long Branch near Blue Ridge GA.

Later in the day (after the camera batteries died unfortunately) I saw 3 black bears!
